microPlayer

microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.

You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..

Can you add an option to not use the hotkeys. They make functions in programs not work that already use those key combos.

If you've got the illiminiable ogg vorbis decoder plugin for Windows Media Player installed, and you select a playlist containing .ogg files, they play just fine. It would be nice if the file-chooser let you select .ogg files directly, though. Can't see them... Otherwise, a very cool app, many thanks!

This is GREAT!!! I listen to recordings all the time from different classes and I love that I can pause and play again. The only thing I'd love to see is a time elapses so when I need to go back I'd have something to base it on. Even without it, this is now by goto player :o)

Great!! I love this one! I'm almost ready to completely loose Winamp.
Just one suggestion:
Would it somehow be possible to make it so that you can just drag a folder or some files on the player? That's the only thing that it needs to make it a 100% perfect.
