microPlayer

microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.

You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..

This is great. I'd love to see a widget with playlist - playback ability. I'd love even more if I could remotely control my media pc from my laptop location over wifi........I'd $$$ for that!!!

Well done!

Suggestion for one more feature: allow the user to add hotkeys to a few of the main controls so it can be used without a mouse. (Must haves: pause/unpause, next, prev; should have: vol up, vol down or just mute; nice to have: open dialog, turn off.)
