microPlayer

microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.
You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..

November 16, 2007 · version 1.3 djofloridaStreamlined, Very small and unobtrusive, yet very functional. Volume seems to be low on mine compared to my other players. The best Widget Player out there.
Capablity to add/play radio stations, with an option to add to a favorites list; or use Windows Media Player or other favorites' list.
I'd like to see a pop up box when I new song comes up with the name of the song and artist. When you mouse over the player too.
