microPlayer

microPlayer is a compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.
You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9..
The Widget is able to play MP3 (.mp3), WAVE (.wav), WMA (.wma), AIFF (.aif .aiff), and Sun/NeXT (.au .snd) sound files. Accepts Playlist File Formats M3U ("m3u"), WPL ("wpl") or WAX ("wax") containing valid media items.
Volume, balance and song seeking controls allow you to find and listen to the best parts of the music at a sound level to suit you. A handy mute option also provides silence on demand without stopping the music.
Click on the "On/Off" button to open or close the player. See the Help page in the right-click/Menu for details.

JeffEverything works as advertised, and it IS small. I especially like the "shuffle" option, since I don't always want to hear my playlists played in the order they were created.
All in all, very nice.

Larry FThis is the last player i will download. No need to look any further. This is a really well done widget!!! Works on vista..and has lots of "bells and whistles" When fully minimized it takes up no space at all, but is easily accessed...Very very well done! Thank you
