mini AirPort Signal

The fifth Widget in the mini Widget series.

mini AirPort Signal is a smaller version of the AirPort Signal Widget that ships with Konfabulator. It's a fraction of the size, and features the ability to display either the network name or signal strength as a percentage. It also has themes to match mini Digital Clock.

She's mini Digital Clock's little sister... She may be younger but she's a lot more mature.

I've been trying to change the "AirPort" label to "WiFi", for my gf's XP laptop. I got some help in the forum but still haven't had success. How about releasing a "WiFi" branded version for us Windows users? Thanks!

Hey Arlo, why not update this widget with the Red, Blue & Green Glow's like you have on the large WiFi signal V2 widget that you do (as well as keeping the CRT versions you have aleady) ?
Personally I like the Red glow...Ooooo... Blood Red Glow...

A newbie here...running in Windows :-(
2 things...
(1) The Widget indicates "No Airport" when I've activated my VPN.
(2) Would be REAL nice to click on the widget and have a pop-up show list of available networks from which to select.

Is it possible to add a hotspot on the widget to turn Airport on and off? That would be really useful for me and, I imagine, others who want to save battery life on their laptop...

Two notes:

1) I deleted the comments relating to sluggish system performance as this turned out to be a Konfabulator bug that is addressed in 1.5.7.

2) The Konfabulator Widgets are more than likely more accurate than the Apple one. This is because the Apple one doesn't update as frequently, and is slightly sugar coated.
