I don't know why it happens, but according to KCPU, CPU Portal can take as much as 20% of my cpu power (on a G3, updating every second). Either way, mini cpu is nice and happy.

Vaxan - This would be a Konfabulator issue, and I've made a note to look into it. No other CPU Widget would work correctly if this were the case.

Charles - The code is the same, the use of images is the same, I'm not sure why CPU portal would "hog" your CPU. I use CPU Portal a lot, and it has never used any CPU. If it did, we would have done something about it given that it's our default CPU monitoring Widget.

Unlike CPU portal, it doesn't hog all my CPU. Yay!

To elaborate on my previous comment... It only displays a number if the number is above 70, which seems weird to me but i guess thats how it's supposed to be. But running something like folding which uses idle processes, other CPU monitors pick that up but this does not.. I don't know if this is a problem or not
