mini What To Do?

The sixth Widget in the mini Widget series.
mini What Do Do? is a smaller version of the What Do Do? Widget that ships with Konfabulator. It's a fraction of the size, and features the ability to resize horizontally to fit the width of the longest item.
He's related to mini Weather and mini Calendar.

August 26, 2005 · version 1.0.1 oneirosI've changed my mind; as I've populated my To Do list, I've decided this smaller version is actually a bit better than the original so have added a star to my rating.
That said, I have hacked about inside the Widget and added a 'Normal' priority, changed the highlight colouring to ROYGB and moved 'None' to the bottom of the list with no highlight colour. Gotta love that Konfabulator...

Make it easier and faster to add and remove items: don't use pop-up dialogues. Let us type into the Widget and use a drop down on the left for priorities. Have a checkbox for completion.
I suggest the checkbox behaviour should be to move the item to the bottom and fade it out over, say, 10 seconds, during which one can un-check the box, then it is deleted.

August 18, 2005 · version 1.0.1 AmolGreat Widget! May I make a feature request - it should be fairly simple to put in. I'm using this on Windows, and when I go about adding an item, I have to manually move the mouse pointer and set the cursor in the 'Item To Do' text box. It would be nice if the default text ('New To Do Item!') in this text box were to be completely selected and all one has to do is start typing.
