miniPlayer

A compact and tiny audio player intended to keep the Widget small and save valuable desktop space. It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, or CD audio tracks.

You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Tested using Windows XP Professional and Windows Media Player 9.

Awesome widget! Unobtrusive design. I agree to comments about changing the colors or skins, and also will like to make it the default player.

Works great.... Size great.... Sure wish it would play songs in subdirectories..... Exp. If a folder called "Elvis" has 5 albums in it and each is in its own directory, you can only play one album at a time. It would be much better if you could set the folder to Elvis and the player could then play all subdirectories.

Great widget! Awesome design works wonderfully, and unobtrusive. Next version it would be nice to change the colors and like the request below make it the default player

Awesome job! Echoing Halcyon, the ability to change colors would be great. LDanix, I have found that if the track number is included in the file name the songs play in their proper order--of course, this refers to mp3's on your hard drive, so I assume you mean playback from a CD. No suggestions if that's the case, sorry.
