Its possibly a glitch on the minimumVersion tag in 3.1.4 engine.

As stated in the Refence manual: "Specifying minimumVersion for a Widget causes the Widget Engine to check it against the version of the engine that is currently running. If the current version is less than the version specified, an error message is displayed to the user and the Widget won't run"

However thats not what happens! If you specify minimumVersion="3.0" no message is d…isplayed and the Widget won't show (it runs in invisible mode :), if you specify "2.9" or lower it works as expected (?)

Anyway a brand new version is coming out today (Version 4! :) If you cant wait I already sent a "1.2" fixed version to the support team so you can enjoy selectable hotkey, but I can imagine that things are pretty crazy at Konfabulator HQ today :) More

I think I've found it! Its something related to the tag <MinimumVersion="3.0">
I have to make some tests to be sure but those who can change it (erase it!) in the first line of the .kon file and let me know :)

I have the same issue, Widget is listed as running, but cannot see the icon. Tried your fix, with no luck. I like the idea of the Hot Key though. =)

Unload the Yahoo Engine from the tray icon, then go to "C:Documents and Settings<username>Local configurationProgram dataYahooWidget Engine" and erase the folder "Monitor Standby.widget", finally double click on the new version and tell me if it works! :)
