Month Calendar

by Merlin

Month Calendar is a resizable calendar showing a month at a time. The month is displayed in weeks, each starting on a Monday or on a Sunday. A week-number is displayed at the start of each week.

A memo can be attached to any date. The first three lines of the memo are displayed in the date's tooltip. Memos are saved as files.

Calendar files (iCal files) can be imported and managed. When enabled and selected, calendar events appear in the dates' tooltips.

The transparency of the whole Widget can be set in the Window preference pane using the Opacity slider. However, the opacity is set to 100% by default, so you will not be able to increase the opacity, if it is at the 100% setting. There is no way to increase the opacity of the Dark Glass background. You could try using a Colorized background and then reduce the Widget opacity a little.

Sorry if this has been explained before, but I searched back 33 pages and gave up ...
How do I assign the memos folder to a LAN drive so that all on the network can see/update/input memos on the Month Calendar from their PCs, please? Thank you.

I can't find how to change the transparency of this widget and it's a little too dimmed for me. The Preferences Pane do not have any controls on it. Were they forgotten, doesn't my eMac OS10.5 works well or I'm only a little dump....?

To see iCalendar events, you have to enable them in the Backgrounds preference pane and also enable the particular iCal file in the Calendar Management dialog (option/alt-click the next month arrow to open the Calendar Management dialog). I use a Macintosh and Palm Desktop, and I have just successfully exported a date book vCal file from Palm Desktop and imported it into Month Calendar in the way I have described below.

If you are still having proiblems, I need a blow by blow account of what you are doing. You can best do that by posting in the appropriate Konfabulator forum.
