I can't find how to change the transparency of this widget and it's a little too dimmed for me. The Preferences Pane do not have any controls on it. Were they forgotten, doesn't my eMac OS10.5 works well or I'm only a little dump....?

To see iCalendar events, you have to enable them in the Backgrounds preference pane and also enable the particular iCal file in the Calendar Management dialog (option/alt-click the next month arrow to open the Calendar Management dialog). I use a Macintosh and Palm Desktop, and I have just successfully exported a date book vCal file from Palm Desktop and imported it into Month Calendar in the way I have described below.

If you are still having proiblems, I need a blow by blow account of what you are doing. You can best do that by posting in the appropriate Konfabulator forum.

Calendar (iCal) files can be imported (by alt-clicking or option-clicking the top-left previous month arrow) and can be managed (by alt-clicking or option-clicking the top-right next month arrow). Calendar files usually have the .ics extension. When an iCal file is imported, a copy is stored with the memos. iCal files can be deleted by using the management function.

On many Macintosh keyboards, the option-key is marked as the alt-key.

The instructions in my earlier post were for the Macintosh.

The easiest way is to use the first method: Open the Palm Desktop Date Book. Use the File Export command to export the Date Book as a vCal file. In the file chooser dialog, type something like "dateBook.ics" in the Save As: box. That's all - you can then import the "dateBook.ics" file into Month Calendar.
