hello all...
recently upgraded to the latest widget engine and since then and after every restart my memos not loading up, even though they are sitting in the memo cabinet...
just by playing around a bit with the memos (*.memo files), i have discovered that if you change (in notepad) 'true' in display to '1' the notes display as normal, every time...
is there a way to rewrite the original xml code to reflect this at all?...
thanks...

I almost didn't download this because there were a lot of bad reviews re: font size. I have to admit that I'm shallow and all the other sticky note programs look like they were designed by a 10 year old in 1988, so I decided to give this pretty and professional one a try.
Results? It's great!
FONTS: The default font size is itsybitsy. However, it's easily changed. Change the font size then open a new sticky which will have the new font size. Each font type, size, and color is …customizable. You can have default settings that will be used for all new stickys and then you can go on to further change each individual sticky.
STICKY NOTES: The default color is (I believe) a yellow, like the traditional tree-killing stickies of yore. You can change the color of the background and the size of the sticky. You can have each sticky be a random color (what I do) or you can choose one default color. You can choose your default sticky size to be small, medium or large. Once you post a new sticky, you can grab the corners and adjust to whatever size you'd like. Again, both of these settings can be customized for each individual sticky.
LOCATION: Your stickies can be posted flat on your desktop or you can bring them to the foreground so they will be visible on top of your browser/word processor/etc. I think this is very useful since sometimes I need to copy down some quick information to later put into my work programs (which are slow to open, clunky to navigate and only work on IE, which is terrible since I work so much faster with Firefox). You can also hide notes.
FILING CABINET: The filing cabinet keeps track of all the stickies. From there, you can find notes you've hidden. Like the stickies, this (and the little memo pad icon) can be customized as far as color, font, and size go. I usually just hide the filing cabinet since I don't need to see it all the time.
TIMER: You can also set a reminder timer for tasks that have a deadline. Personally, I've never needed this feature so I don't know how well it works.
IN CONCLUSION: Give this program a try. I've never had a problem with it, once I figured out the default font settings. I think it's FAR better than any of the other programs offered here and elsewhere on the web. It's easy to use and it's very pretty. I think if Mac designed a sticky note program, it'd probably be a lot like this.More
