Cool Widget - small and easy to use :-) But I agree that there should a percentage meter like Ivan suggested.

Great job, I trashed the older volume widget I had been using-love the slider control.
One feature I would like is a separate mute control button. Being able to change the size and color of the widget would be great too.

Nice work! One request, for you to weigh and consider: an option to "beep" at the new volume level, so as to give an audible indication of how loud the system now it.

Uhhh...sorry, Ivan, your requests are a little out of reach... If I can add percentages without sacrificing simplicity, it might happen, but you might be in better luck looking through the sound category, I think I saw one in there that does weird percentage things.
As far as locking down the windows volume, that's just not going to happen. As far as I know, there isn't a way for that to happen, and for good reason - wouldn't it be annoying if an app took control of your volume?

Please do add a percentage meter - the windows volume control is virtually useless given that it does not display such. And, AND...a way to prevent the volume from being changed by other means throughout the system if the widget is indeed running. That would be great feature for the purpose of keeping overall volume calibrated in Audio/Video Workstations. (I know it's probably alot to ask, but isn't it annoying how Windows allows other applications to take over controls without regards to your preferences?)
