NASCAR Standings

Displays the following information about the top N drivers (N is a number between 1 and 20 specified via the Preferences) in the current NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch, or Craftsman Trucks Series: rank, driver name, points, behind, money, wins, poles, top 5, and top 10.

Columns displayed and background opacity are configurable, and the Widget minimizes to the logo.

Switching series is done via the context menu, which is accessed via right-clicking (Windows) or ctrl-clicking (Mac) on the Widget.

Oops, I got cut off. My last sentence was supposed to be
"I don't care if I have fewer downloads. Not like I'm getting paid."

That being said, if more people complain of not being able to figure out how to close the "disclaimer" window, I may modify the design/layout- but the disclaimer will still pop up at first launch.

I hope this continues to work when the season starts again ...

James- As I explained below, I need the disclaimer to protect myself against lawsuits and to prevent people from stealing/misuing my code. People are pretty litigous nowadays, and if someone loses money on a bet because of information presented in my widget, I don't want to get sued. Yahoo! has already absolved themselves of all responsibility, so without that disclaimer, I'm at risk. Besides, it only pops up the first time the widget launches.

Looks great...with the season over the real test will be next year. Not sure why we need the Disclaimer. I'm afraid that will turm people way. Plus I sat there for a min just trying to figure out what I had to do to get past it. Lose the that and you will get more downloads ..Will rate next year..but for now becuause of the Disclaimer.. 2 stars

Nice work! I look forward to seeing this in use through the whole season next year. Luckily with NASCAR I won't have to wait long... Daytona is just around the corner.

The width of the widget depends on the font size and columns shown, but of which can be configured via the Preferences. Hmm, I just realized I forgot to put that in the widget description. If you want the widget smaller, hide some columns and choose a smaller font. For example, you could just show driver name and points and set the font size to 8. That's what I do on my 1024 x 768 laptop. Also, you could hide the whole thing by "minimizing to logo".
