AnneI loved this this widget, but for the past week all I get is downloading image..... I have tried deleting and reinstalling the widget with no success. Anybody else having this problem? Anyone have a solution? Before this I would have given the widget a 5 star review, but for now it gets a solid zero!

Better than the one of National Geographic
AlexI have tried both this one and that of national geographic, this is better! This has more preferences to choose from, it can be enlarged on your desktop whereas that of NG takes you to their site.

There is actually an official National Geographic Photo of the Day widget, not this one
widget crazyA decent start back in the day, but National Geographic has come up with a better more robust widget. I saw it on:

November 16, 2007 · version 2.73 MarkOK, the format of the web pages at National Geographic had changed. Version 2.73 has been submitted for upload, and will fix this problem, look for the update appearing in the gallery within the next week. There is no new functionality in this release.
