Looks like National Rail has changed things again. Manchester Piccadilly doesn't show any arrivals or departures and station selection has stopped working.

Looks like National Rail has made a small change to the formatting of the station departure/arrivals page. Since the widget is basically a screen-scraper, this has caused the patterns that match departure blocks to fail.

Remember: you can always use the "View Page" link at the bottom of the widget to jump straight to the arrivals/departure page while you're waiting for my mix. It's a glorified bookmark, I suppose. ;)

I've put together a patch but need to test it, since… I'll also include what I hope is a fix for the more serious resource usage/response issue. The second patch makes use of the run command in background function and so shouldn't lock up the Mac in the same way.

I'm still working on enabling the widge to spawn multiple copies for multiple stations, but this is much more complex 'thing' and so won't be addressed any time soon since I'll be taking some holiday.

Or was rather... :-) Now I'm finding that the 'Departures' tab gives me an empty list . 'Arrivals' still works tho'. Any ideas ? This seems to have broken in the past 5 days or so.

3. A PC version -- until I can go back to using Konfab's own URL method I won't be releasing a PC version since few people will have Perl and curl installed on a PC. If I can make the runCommandInBg() work then I will see if that route results in a PC-friendly widget.

4. If I get the PC version working then I'll probably have to look at further restrictions on how often the widget updates the train times. The probable solution will b…e: a default 30 to 45 minute refresh with a "I'm about to leave the office" button that will perform 2 minute refreshes for about 10 minutes. You would be limited to using this feature, say, four times a day. This is to keep National Rail from getting irritated with Konfabulator and to maximise the chance we can all go on benefitting from their friendliness (i.e. they were willing to work with me once I had fixed the original curl bug).
