WidgetWorldFor thost that are having problems updating to the latest version, sorry, but this is a bug in the Yahoo system that is beyond our ability to control in any way.
So, if you are having problems download and running the latest version (and keep getting the message that says there is a new version), the best thing to do is:
1) Go to the dock, right click, and delete the widget
2) Come back here and download the most recent widget
Again, there is a BUG in the Engine / Gallery site that causes this problem. There is nothing we can do to prevent this problem.

Not aware of any sound problems
WidgetWorldHi Mongo25, we have thousands of daily users who use the included sounds without any issues. Perhaps there is an issue with your particular system? Please try some of the other clocks that have sounds and see if they work.

Mongo25I can play custom files under chimes and alarms, but the sounds that come with the widget don't work at all.

Sounds like you have ignore mouse on
WidgetWorldHi Nocturnalsin. The only reasonable explanation that I can see is that you have enabled the widget preference "ignore mouse" which is a setting that each and every widget has. That would explain your inability to move the widget and to see any pop-up menus at all.
The solution is for you to go to the heads-up display mode (where ignore mouse is, well, ignored) and then you can right click, change the ignore mouse settings in "window" section of the widget preferences. After that, you should be all set. Hope that helps!
