The gallery has a problem in its update software. To download the latest version and to stop those upgrade messages, simply close the current version, go to widget history (above) and manually download the newest version and then open it from your computer. That should solve it.

The Yahoo Widget Engine has not been updated in some time and is not officially supported on Windows 7. My guess is that there is some kind of bug in the engine causing these problems. We do not support Neon Clock on Windows 7 as we don't have any machines running this OS yet and the Yahoo Engine has not been updated to support that OS.

Thanks for the great comments about Neon Clock and for using it for so long but at this point, we don't really have anything we can do for you on Windows 7.

I've been using this widget for a long time, and I love it. I'm on windows 7 now, though, and for some reason the time and date colors are desaturated. Picking the bright, saturated yellow gives an ugly pastel. Same for every saturated color.
I know this sounds stupid, but this bug or whatever makes it completely unusable.

It wanted to "update" nightly for two weeks solidly. i noticed more traffic outbound, then inbound with it.
