viperb0y - The widget checks a version file on our server (which resolves to that name) when it starts and every 24 hours to see if there is a new version available. You can disable that check in the widget preferences. Also, because it is a Yahoo widget, you could even open it and see the actual code for yourself. That is all it is doing.

I have this cool black and white artwork of MGS4 on my desktop..
And i put the main color as white and the glow as black..and it looks so good.
