Sorry, no idea...
WidgetWorldWe have thousands of daily users with no sound problems at all. The good news is that you can use custom sounds so that will hopefully meet your needs.

Mongo25I have Digital Clock and Cooking_Timer and they both play their alarm sounds just fine. I have other non-yahoo-widget applications which also play their sounds. I have deleted and re-downloaded your clock twice. When I try the included alarm sounds I either get nothing (silence) or a weird chirp instead of the sound.

WidgetWorldFor thost that are having problems updating to the latest version, sorry, but this is a bug in the Yahoo system that is beyond our ability to control in any way.
So, if you are having problems download and running the latest version (and keep getting the message that says there is a new version), the best thing to do is:
1) Go to the dock, right click, and delete the widget
2) Come back here and download the most recent widget
Again, there is a BUG in the Engine / Gallery site that causes this problem. There is nothing we can do to prevent this problem.
