Please do not attempt to use this widget. Due to the way that Yahoo Widgets has changed since it was last maintained, it can no longer write out the files necessary for it to work properly. My apologies to those interested.

the NetAct 1.5 widget is defective. I have 1.2 that works for me and is listed as 42K in length. 1.2 Works for me. 1.5 shows an error message that displays something about "/tmp/ ....

I have three instances of Yahoo! Widget Engine load one on a G4-500 X .3.9 and on a Firewire Drive attached to this Computer using X.4.11 and finally on a PowerBook 17" using OSX.4.11.

In each case I've closed widget remove instance of in Application support and removed plist file so they would start from scratch.

It appears its an incomplete upload from the author.

the data-reset does not work ... do you know why?

Very useful. However it would be greatly enhanced if it could measure total download over a user-set period of time, thus enabling tracking of internet usage for people with download limits/e.g. month. Even better to be able to add what your limit is and have a field showing what's left!

Great widget, however I'm getting the same problem as reported by John K on November 17 with it displaying erronious data. mine is saying I have transmitted 52.01 Gb the machine has only benn running for 30 mins. I have a quick connection but not that quick.
