This Widget will tell you what your currect upload and download speeds are, and also your total bandwidth for the last day (my college limits bandwidth per day).
Ya, I guess I could add that in if enough people wanted it. I have never really seen the need though.

Actually, the widget does reset at midnight, or whenever your computer clock claims it is midnight. The same is true of all the timers. Daily resets at 12:00, weekly resets Sundat at 12:00, monthly on the 1st at 12:00, ect...
