BrianThanks, Brendan! Proper updating of images on New England Doppler has resumed with new Version 3.1. (Need the same for Washington DC Area Doppler which remains stuck on an April 23rd radar image.)

Brendan BellinaVersion 3.1 has been released. This version corrects all map locations. In addition all map preferences are now stored in the widget and can be customized. Also the automatic check for updates will now also check for new map locations and allow updating the locations from the author's website, so manually editing the locations should not be necessary. One possible cause of the black screen problem reported by some users has also been addressed.

Notification of new version
Brendan BellinaAfter I release a new version to my website the widget will notify you the next time it is opened (unless you explicitly turned off automatic notification). If you leave the widget up all the time then it will not see the new version, because the automatic check occurs only when it is opened. You can manually check for an update at any time from the widget menu (right click on the widget and select "Check for an update...".)

BrianThanks for the clarification, Brendan! Any ballpark estimate of when those new versions will be coming? If I leave the existing version opened, will I see any automatic notification of update? Your Doppler Widgets are my most valued Widgets.
