NewsTicker
This Widget will display news headlines in a scrolling ticker, similar to those seen on buildings in Times Square, NYC.
The ticker is movable, sizable, and capable of displaying multiple news-feeds. Clicking on a headline in a feed takes you directly to the news story selected. Also included is an option to pause the ticker and pop up a brief description when the cursor hovers over a headline.

LeeIn options, go to the windows graphic. Under the section "prevent dragging" it will tell you to move the news widget hold down the control key and drag to your desired location with the mouse.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.65 Jthis has been my favorite ticker for awhile, but i just updated to that widget engine for, and this one doesn't seem to like it much - to the point where it grabs all processing power.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.65 jonzadraHi, this is the best scrolling widget I've seen so far. I have one bug, and two suggestions.
The bug:
The "show gaps" option has no effect. Whether it's enabled or disable, gaps still appear between stories.
The suggestions:
1) Instead of having only one line where you input all feeds, have multiple lines, one for each feed or some other method. That single line can get very messy when you have 5 or more urls in it.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.65 DamoclesThis widget does, however, consume about 40% of my CPU. If I "pause" I get the CPU back, so I'm thinking it is in the graphics/scrolling. Also, when you do click on a headline, rather than open a new web browse window, it takes over an existing one (which ever IE session I used last). I'd rather it open a new one if it could and leave my existing ones alone.
