NewsTicker

This Widget will display news headlines in a scrolling ticker, similar to those seen on buildings in Times Square, NYC.

The ticker is movable, sizable, and capable of displaying multiple news-feeds. Clicking on a headline in a feed takes you directly to the news story selected. Also included is an option to pause the ticker and pop up a brief description when the cursor hovers over a headline.

It's so good that it can be custumized a lot. It would be better that the SIZE of the DISCRIPITON bubble can custumize too. Also, don't let the deiscription fall off the screen. Good Widget!

On my configuration (XP Pro), clicking does not open the story in the browser, just does nothing!

Any idea what is going wrong??

(In other RSS widgets like MultiNewsReader, clicking does open Firefox)

Moleculor - Not directly in Konfabulator. There is no way to read pixel values from the screen.

Eric - Multi-monitor support is there, but its a bit crude until Pixoria fixes some bugs related to detecting which monitor the widget is running on. Simply un-check the single monitor snapping option in the General display panel and move the ticker wherever you want.

Longer hover time before pop-up (well, configurable hover time anyway) is a good idea. I'll add it to the to-do list.

Although I've only been using this for the full 5 minutes between the time I found and and now I must say this seems like a really nice news ticker. I like the simplicity as well so I'd say "don't rush the eye-candy". I do have two requests though:
1) As mentioned earlier, could you make it possible to choose a monitor on multiple monitor systems? (I'm running XP with Dual monitors)
2) More importantly, could you make a variable delay on hovering the mouse over a headli… More
