NewsTicker

This Widget will display news headlines in a scrolling ticker, similar to those seen on buildings in Times Square, NYC.

The ticker is movable, sizable, and capable of displaying multiple news-feeds. Clicking on a headline in a feed takes you directly to the news story selected. Also included is an option to pause the ticker and pop up a brief description when the cursor hovers over a headline.

Hi Peter,

Great Ticker!
Nevertheless, I'm experiencing a little problem with the font customization. No way to change the font style.
After investigating a little bit, I find out the issue is the language.

I'm French and my computer is configured in French. So, the Text Font pulldown displays the French description of the font. But the font name is different from the french description. For instance, the font called Impact is described as Impact Normal.

Great widget- I love the customizations for the fonts. I just downloaded v1.66 on XP Pro, but I can't move it anywhere. It's stuck to the top of the screen and even when all the locking options are deselected, it is not movable. After 10 attempts or so, the widget crashes. Any pointers?

The SIZE I mean is the width of the discription. Some RSS would keep its width, but some do not. Those discription would go as wide as the acreen. It's hard to read and most of them fall out(That's Kon problem). Can you do somthing to fix the width, please?

-(0_0)- Description size does change to match the font size being used. Also, descriptions only fall off the screen when primary monitor snapping for the widget is turned off (i.e., in multi-display setups.) This has to do with bugs in Konfabulator with regards to multi-monitor support. Once these are fixed, multi-monitor descriptions will not fall of the screen.
