NPR Addict

For you NPR addicts out there, you can use this Widget to select an NPR program by date to stream via Windows Media or RealPlayer on Windows or Mac. There are several other public radio streams and archives that are added over time (e.g., CarTalk, A Prairie Home Companion, and others).

Note: this Widget does not play the streams, in simply invokes your audio player to do so.

Hi Bill!

Whatever you did for v0.1c changed the operation completely! Everything now works GREAT on both MS Windows Media Player 10 and on RealPlayer 10.5. Also the migrating icon issue (for MS Windows Media Player and RealPlayer) has ceased with v0.1c. Thanks for the advanced copy.

BTW, for the next version, could you include NPR's Car Talk (only available for RealPlayer on their own website) and Wait-Wait-Don't-Tell-Me from NPR's weekend offering?

I'm sorry to those who have incurred problems with the 0.1b version (due to my own sloppiness). I uploaded a 0.1c version two days ago when I discovered the problem myself. Anyone wanting that version while we all wait can email me with the 0.1b interface using the context menu "Bug Report" and I will send you the fix 0.1c.

I have the same exact problem that Brian has. Icons migrate and no sound. Great idea though.

ALREADY have installed RealPlayer version 10.5, MS Windows Media Player 10.00.00.4036
I follow the steps outlined in your widget Help box pop-up:
I select NPR show, select show date (several individually on different trials), select media player type (tried both RealPlayer and MS Windows Media Player)
