So I finally had some time to dedicate to this widget. I apologize to everyone who had to go without it for a couple of months. I've updated a lot of code and upgraded many features. I hope you enjoy using it even more now.

Thanks for updating your widget and for the work on it. Between the NYT and the BBC, I won't miss any news now.

Something about the new version of this widget behaves differently than it used to and from all other widget I've seen. I have two copies of the widget running, with different file names. It used to be that they would each have different settings and would remember them.

Now, however, they will only remember differing settings until you restart the widget engine, at which time they both become the same, overlaid in the same position with the same things showing.

Is there anyway to fix th…is issue or else add a functionality to spawn an additional section view? I like to leave separate sections open simultaneously on my desktop to keep up on news from the 2 sections that interest me. More

manekineko, This issue has been addressed in the 2.1 release. It is an issue with how Yahoo! Widget Engine 4.0 now identifies widgets. Hopefully they will fix this in a future release (there have been many comments on the forum about it), but in the meantime, download version 2.1 and you'll again be able to launch as many copies as you want!
