Used to be great. Used to be able to pick my area in Ohio, now can't pick anything, and only get a black screen no matter what. Tried inputting the right data into preferences, no good. Tried reinstalling. No good. Tried resetting to defaults. No good. Tried weather channel desktop - no problem.
Like I said - USED to be great. No idea what happened. Last year it would have gotten a solid 5 stars, now it doesn't even deserve one. :-(

Just get weather channel desktop. That way you can zoom in on area of the country or the world you want to.

There are other radar widgets available in the gallery. None of them use local stations as I do, but they are functional. Some information on why you tried to go back to v2.1 might be useful to me and others.

I downloaded v3. I went back to V2.1. Then v.2.1 started to crash my machine. Yahoo wouldn''t load with v.21 so I removed v2.1 and Yahoo widgets now work. I need to find replacement for this widget.
Any suggestions?

kim - The widget only displays the images at the website. WCPO decides what their images look like. Zooming is not something I can control.

Vic V - I don't have any other reports of this problem. When you right click on the widget does the menu say "Disable..." or "Enable..."? If you select the "Disable..." option it should no longer check the version.
