This is a special purpose calculator which performs simple calculations using Ohm's Law.
Given any two of the four quantities - voltage, current, resistance or power - the Widget calculates the values of the other two.

November 15, 2007 · version 1.3 MerlinSvend Erik Hansen: Do you mean P = sqrt(3)*V*I*cos(phi) ? In that case, you would have to put in three values to compute the fourth, or do you fix phi and also have a formula for R? Is that P = 3*I*I*R ? I'm not at electrical engineer, so i would need the relevant formulae.

November 15, 2007 · version 1.3 Svend ErikIt would be very nic if you could incorporete 3-phase AC calculations with SQRT3 and CosFi.
Also puttin g in any two values will give the other two.
Otherwise I think I will use it frequently.
