Unfortunately the real problem is the oil traders on the stock exchange and the blind eye our government makes to their daily abuse and raping of the public and the world. With most oil companies reporting record profits and no incentive to build more refineries the traders should not be allowed to reap their huge profits for a barrel of oil. My question is exactly what good to the world is a $70 barrel of oil? It's nothing more than a slap to the face of the poor and middle class of the world. This political greed must stop.

Could use a facelift, but the idea is good. I would like to see a similar or combined widget for spot oil and spot gold.

A depressing, but highly useful widget. Thanks!

Nice widget -- looks sexy, too. Would be nice to have a history, as I sat down at my desk and thought "I'm sure it was $67... was it?"
As someone else said, program the fuel gague at the top to be an indication of whether it has gone up or down in the last 24 hours.
Or, just fake it as it's always going to go up, and never down. Let's face it!
