Password
The answer is, you need to add a token to the end of your password. SFDC will email a token to you which must be added whenever you access SFDC from outside my corporate network.

This looks awesome, however, it is not signing me in using my normal SFDC username joesmith@companyname.com and my standard passowrd. Do I need to use a token in the password field?

Great idea, their website also has one for support . Its great to see widgets getting traction with business apps. If your curious but dont have salesforce, you can sign up for a free developer account at salesforce.com. Then just create a couple of opporunities, and wala, the widget will work for you.
