Sometimes a web site has just one piece of information you find interesting or want to keep track of (without having to constantly start your browser and visit the site). You could write your own custom Widget, or, if you're up to the challenge of using Regular Expressions, this simple tool can save you the trouble.

Currently, I think the best way to do this is to make a copy of the Widget and give it a different name. Make as many copies as you want different scrapes. This way each should have it's own unique name and settings. Not the greatest of solutions, but workable I think.

This is cool, but I have a simple question. Can I get multiple instances of this widget going at once? I'd like to scrape a couple of pages and have them displayed at one time. I don't see how to do that. Thanks!

As for your header/caption idea, I'm way ahead of you. v1.3 which is already in the pipe and should be available in the next day or so includes the ability to provide prefix and suffix text, which is close to what you're asking for. That new version will also allow you to unescape HTML escape codes so ° will More

This is a great widget. Thanks, Chris.

One point: Maybe I'm missing something, but since you can't set the text rectangle where the characters appear, the justification preferences seem meaningless. Maybe in future versions, you can add a preferences item to set the width and height of the text rectangle?

Another recommendation: Allow for a header field, or at least some type of caption.

I wanted to post my own uses of this widget on the board.
