PasswordMaker

One Password To Rule Them All! If you're like most people, you have a few passwords that you use over and over again for many different accounts. You know this isn't secure, yet you do it anyway. Why? Because it's difficult to remember a unique password for each and every web site that requires one.

Maybe you do use unique passwords, and get around the problem of remembering them by storing them in a spreadsheet or on a USB keychain. But now you've centralized your passwords and More

Tried to download the explorer version and was unable to download (from web site). It went into my designated save file, but would not upload to my computer. In the process it incapacitated my access to Control Panel and the upload screen froze. Had to restart several times and deleted PasswordMaker from my computer before problems were resolved.

Great widget for the truly paranoid, like me. However, it has one gaping security flaw, IMHO. It should revert back to the default settings when it's closed. It now saves all your settings except for your master password. If your computer is stolen the Use l33t, l33t Level, Hash Algorithm, Password Length and Characters are set and the thief wouldn't have to guess them. The URL would be fairly easy to guess. 1.) Some type of master pass word clear, reset, timer something to make the masterpassword blank after a few minutes, just incase I walk away and forget to manually clear it.
2.) along with masterpass word, it should also save my Settings to that master password. so when it blanks out the master set More

Awesome idea well implemented in Widget form. I think the browser plugin is more convenient but this is great for people who don't use Firefox.

As JL said below, a reset button would be nice. I think because I changed the character field, the widget's created password no longer matches the one produced by the Firefox extension. This becomes a problem if I create a password at home on the widget but then try to gain access using the Firefox extension at work. Otherwise, excellent!
