Popcheck Mail Checker is a Widget for checking how many messages you have on your POP3, Gmail, IMAP, Yahoo! and Hotmail Accounts.

I only needed this widget to check my Yahoo account without actually having to load up my browser. I watched a couple of topics in a forum and it didn't notify me in any way. It might work with gmail, but its a horrible failure for Yahoo. sorry
