I had postit installed and working ok on winxp sp2 machine for some time. I believe it is the latesst 1.1b. When I installed this on a winxp sp3 machine on a lenevo s10 netbook, the contents are never saved back to the .txt file when I modify it. So when I restart the machine, the original contents that came up with the installation shows up :( I can change the text in the.txt file manually, and restart the post it widget, it does show the edited text.

Anybody knows how to fix this, or the …reason for this problem on winxp SP3?

There are many posts here saying the same problem exists, it was not clear if the problem is specific to SP3 or there is some other condition that triggers this bug. More

its amazing widget but 'per note settings' doesnt work + it would be awesome if i can change the font color and size ;)

I really love it for its looks. The only problem with it is that Per note settings does not work. So you cannot change the font style and font size. I dont know whether it is because of the OS ! But otherwise, its wonderful.

I really liked this widget - it looks great, you can resize the note to any size you want and change the colors! Everything seems great, BUT you lose whatever is on the note if you have to re-start your computer for any reason (or if it restarts automatically due to system upgrades, etc.). So, as much as I loved it in the beginning, I'm no longer using this widget.

Its Nice, but it would be more usefull if I could save my entries.
Please integrate a automatic save function!
Is not really usefull if I rote an notification and on next start it will be lost.
