Quick Dock

by Michael Wilson

QuickDock is a Quick Launch Toolbar replacement. It grabs all your links and shortcuts in your Quick Launch directory and makes the available via an expandable fish-eye floating Widget.

It also allows you to make an alternate directory for shortcuts anywhere on your system.

I'm running XP SP3, and downloaded the "Yahoo_Installer.exe" file for this widget. I've tried running it several times, and each time it crashes Firefox (???) if I have it open and running, and does nothing else. If Firefox is closed it still does nothing. I've got lots of other widgets which do work and which install correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas (including you, Mr. Michael Wilson)?

    Thanks, Ann

click on the F8 function key on your keyboard, that should open up a heads up mode (a transparent blue window ) which will enable you interact with the widget. Right chick on the widget while in this mode and select widget preference. You should see a quick dock window pop up. click on the window option button at the top of the screen and de-select Ignore mouse and then click save at the bottom. That should solve the problem. Hope it helps
