Quotation Manager

Display famous quotations on the desktop. Quotations are taken from a choice of web sites and stored in a local buffer allowing the Widget to work either on-line or off.

The Widget also allows you to clip your favorite quotes for custom display or copy then to the clipboard for export to other programs.

Oops. My comment was mistakenly put under the older version of this widget. Here again:

Great idea, but still some big bugs. It gives three options for changing the quote source (Quoteland, Quotations Page, Split-a-rib), but it stays stuck on Quoteland.

Also, the font size is way too big and overbearing. Needs an option to change the font size.

For Windows, it fetched one batch of quotes from Quote Land and had been displaying those same ones for days, won't fetch any new ones and won't get them from other sites either

Would be good if there was a way to display your own quotes, but I don't think there is. Still not bad.

I love quotes, so this widget is a lot of fun for me, but i can't figure out how to get it to display my own quotes.

Bug in the Windows version - no matter what site I select to provide the quotes, the quotes always come from Quoteland.
