Quotation Manager

Display famous quotations on the desktop. Quotations are taken from a choice of web sites and stored in a local buffer allowing the Widget to work either on-line or off.

The Widget also allows you to clip your favorite quotes for custom display or copy then to the clipboard for export to other programs.

I loved this widget... worked into a section on my background. Problem is the widget stopped working as of 5/16/04 with any of the quote sites listed in it's preferences. I get a

Global/OnLoad:100: TypeError: urlData.match(quoteSearch) has no properties

error. PLEASE UPDATE THIS WIDGET... my desktop just doesn't look the same...

Love the widget but there seems to be a bug with the drop shadow - when the quote changes the, drop shadow for the old quote remains.

Great widget - I would give it 4 stars if there was a way to change the color of the text. Can't read content against dark background.
