Displays a large vatiery of Doppler radar, visable, and infrared still and animated images from Weather.com. Simply select a nearby city/view (or any 2 cities/views to enter dual-image mode) from the dropdown menus. Supports http proxy connections. Designed for US users, but supports satellite views of the rest of the world. Based on TommyCam by Adam Talcott.

Commander & Chief Dirtybirdis there any chance that you could take KONFABULATOR and / or Widgets Converter and just rewrite the codes into a NEW RADAR WIDGET???? kinda like an upgraded model, but it would turn out to be RADAR II (2)?? I can get some codes using Widget Converter.... but not knowing your work, or how to build widgets anyways... hehe, not much i can do. .... .anyways.. @YAHOO! This is the "BEST" radar widget there is, and you need to let KEN fix it!!!!

kenstraka - AuthorI'd *really* like to update this widget for everyone so that it works better with the new versions of the Widget Engine, but I cannot get Yahoo! to give me control of the widget back. Not that they've denied me, but that my multiple, multiple requests to get control of the widget almost always go unanswered. They're driving me crazy, but I'm still working on it. :)

Radar not working
Commander & Chief DirtybirdI have downloaded this widget at LEAST 5 times back to back, and it will not fetch the maps from weather.com. The only thing that will show is a PARTIAL word "MISSING" and it will not do anything else. I do now know if it is due to there being a new base widge.exe, but now it will now work.
