Radar

Displays a large vatiery of Doppler radar, visable, and infrared still and animated images from Weather.com. Simply select a nearby city/view (or any 2 cities/views to enter dual-image mode) from the dropdown menus. Supports http proxy connections. Designed for US users, but supports satellite views of the rest of the world. Based on TommyCam by Adam Talcott.

Phew! I get back from a week vacation and look what happens!! Anyway, it looks like the 3.1.1 update of the Yahoo Widget Engine fixes the problem, but for good measure I'll take the (R) symbol of of the .kon file in the next release (which I *swear* is coming soon.....grin).

Thanks for all your kind words and support, it really means a lot to me that so many people use and depend this widget.

well, the newest version, 3.1.1 has fixed the issue. When widgets restarted, the radar loaded and is working fine now!!

do you have to have a 3rd party zip program? I dont seem to have one in windows....

If you use Notepad to edit the .kon file instead of Word or Wordpad, it will work properly.

I'm not much of a programmer, so here's what I tried. I renamed the .widget file .zip, and then unzipped it to get to the .kon file. I tried to open it with Word, but it gave me an error. I was able to open it with Wordpad and remove the copyright symbols. I zipped it back up, renamed it .widget and tried to open it. It said it couldn't find a valid .kon file. If I look in the rezipped file, the .kon is still there. Is it b/c I'm using wordpad and not word?
