Mr. Currie said in an earlier post that he put the newer version up on Friday, but apparently the Konfabulator folks haven't yet approved it for distrobution. Not sure how long the process takes myself, this is the first time I have seen the author post when they posted it. Of course with the new owner, there may or may not be stricker guidelines or the Konfabulator folks may be busy with Yahoo meetings. Who knows... but I look forward to trying out the improvements of this widget.

Really nice widget. Would be nice to switch radar views with a right mouse click then select radar 1-5. Also the abilitiy to play animated gif's would be a great addition!!!! Tried an animated gif and it froze the widget...

But it could be nicer if it could fetch pictures on a ftp-server.
Example: ftp://ftp.dfd.dlr.de/put/to_zdf/Germany/image1.jpg didn't work, neither http://ftp.dfd.dlr.de/put/to_zdf/Germany/image1.jpg

This services (german space agency) only provides this pictures on a ftp server. It's not a problem to get them by a browser, so i think this isn't a unpossible thing.

i would like the "loop" function, too.

I built the widget to veiw radar images, I wanted to view more than one or two images at a time, but you can add any images that you want to view. It don't have to be just radar images. Thanks Michael for pointing out what never even occurred to me. I'm so silly... I should have told everone that in my initial description.

Items I have added in the next version:
- Buttons on the main window to move thru the images.
- Resizing, you can click in the lower right corner of the main window …and drag the window size, like any other window app.

I'm waiting on the update to be added now. Not sure how long it will take for it to be added. More
