Remote Desktop Launcher

Simple Widget to launch a Remote Desktop session in Windows. This is great for IT Professionals who work with remote machines on a regular basis.
I was comparing Yahoo Widgets with Windows Vista Gadgets when I saw that Vista had a Remote Desktop Gadget and I could not find one in Yahoo Widgets, so I made this one. (It's amazing how similar the two engines are in how they look and what they do, but they are definitely different in the backend!!)

Christopheris there anyway to transfer a file from one machine to the other using this widget?? Does anyone know how to transfer files using the home network?

zachdude1094There is a built in program in XP home called Remote Assistance thorough Windows Messenger but you have to have someone on the other end for it to work. Cool it Paul S.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.0.2 GlenPaul, before going off all half cocked, why dont you look for Remote Desktop Connection (or also called Terminal Services Client). There is an XP Home version or Windows 2000 version freely available. Next time, look harder before having a go at people.
