I would like to say this is a very great idea. I didn't know you could do things like this with the replay, it works flawlessly by the way. I'm not going to do some research to find out if i can make any programs of my own to do this.

You need to have a ReplayTV DVR set-top that is connected to your home network. It does not control any TV or in this case any set-top. ReplayTV was one of the original DVR services along with TiVo back in the late 90's.

Guess I will never get it to work. My ReplayTV 5500 system is networked through my computer...my IP address is set correctly...and, I waited more than five seconds!
