Actually you need to have 3 things set...
1. in preferences: 'Update selected archives during auto-refresh' must be checked.
2. you must right click on the image and select: 'Always Archive this image'.
3. right click again and select: Update this Archive during Auto-refresh. (make sure its checked.)

If those three things are set and it still does not work then I'm stumped, cause
the auto-refresh works great for me.

I hope I haven't forgot anything to tell you.

That way you only need 60 second attention span to catch it. More

The widget is Online but doesn't refresh every 15 min as set and only does so when I click on the map option on the right-side. I have an always on web connection (T1) so I am not sure why it won't auto-refresh.

The widget must be in ONLINE mode for the auto-refresh to work.

I am a weather fanatic and most of my desktop has weather related Widgets. I really enjoy this one for the fast and easy access to the maps and radars! One thing I have noticed with the new version is the auto-update feature doesn't appear to be working. I have it set for 15 min but it doesn't refresh unless I click on the map again. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any plans on making it so it's not always off-line when you start up the Widget (or when you go into Preferences)…? Just curious as my weather station machine at home on my television brings up the Widget offline when it restarts and I have to manually bring it online again. Perhaps you could default to a single map?
