It works great on my cable connected computer! I click, and instant image! I like all the features. Very nice Widget.

I adore this widget. It works great and looks beautiful. BTW its so nice to be able to make it bigger. So many widgets are hard to see theyre so small.

Hangup Problem:

The problem occurs when you switch to a new map before allowing the current one to finish downloading. The fix is already in & waiting for release. The widget will work fine until the update. A map will usually only take 10 seconds on dialup. If you wait, you'll have no problems.

A great idea for a widget. A bit too large as widgets go and a bit buggie as commented. Could not go quickly from feature to feature. Plus, it locked up on me to the point I had to restart my laptop. All in all a good idea but needs some punching up.

With that said, ALL the map links are changable.
Don't like a view, find a better one and change it.

Only certain USA maps are zoomable. The ones with the * (asterisk).

The fade slide on the left is for 2 purposes. The first is to simply see the previous image viewed. But a more subtle reason is that most of the USA maps overlay perfectly. So the last 2 maps can almost be viewed at the same time. A little wierd, but sometimes surprisi…ngly enlightening!

In the future, if wanted, and new links to great maps are found, then upgrades are expected.

I hope soon to upgrade this widget to archive maps so you can see a weather pattern over many hours, days, weeks - who knows what I'll come up with.
