Savings meter

A Widget to visually show how far you've saved towards something and how far you've got to go. Useful if you're saving up for something that will cost a lot and you want to visually track how much you have left to go and how much you already have (e.g. if you were saving for a Mac or something).

I'm using it to track word count for my novel, so I just left the currency symbol blank and put " words" in the "symbol after" box, and the thing tells me I'm shooting for 100,000 words. You can put any picture you want in there, like a mockup of your novel cover, or a picture of your soon-to-be figure, if you use it to track " pounds lost." It works.

June 07, 2006 · version 1.1 RejectGreat little tool to aid you in saving some cash here and there! I am currently using it to track my savings towards some new PC equipment.
It works as advertised for the most part. The only issue I am having is the occasional extra decimal showing when I make an addition or subtraction. Lit it showing $25.5000000007 saved instead of just $25.50. Simple little fix for me, just takes a couple seconds to clen up the input in prefrences, but it does get old having to do it every few times I add an… More
