Very good little app, but here's a few things that could be improved. First, Yen could be added. Secondly, the dialog box for adding a picture could start in My Pictures instead of My Documents. Thirdly, the Reset to Default button could be erased, since it's kind of redundant (all one should need to do is erase where the image filename path). If there is a way to change the colors of the widget, it's not very obvious. Lastly and most importantly, you should add the same types of frames that the Picture Frame widget has. That would be downright awesome.

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions. I've just uploaded a new version (it might take a while to get reviewed), which adds some new features, such as changing the colours (useful if you're running it more than once), the ability to enter any currency symbol or text, the 'reverse option' if you're paying back something and I fixed that bug where the progress bar goes too far when you've reached 100%.

Markus and Sunil: When the new version appears, go to the 'cu…rrency' tab in the preferences, you'll be able to enter whatever currency you like then :)

When you reach 100%, there will be an extra arrow in the end of the arrow bar so the end of bar (the final arrow) will be out of the box. Other than this problem, everything's totally fine.

I have a slightly derivative idea for something like this for weight loss. Ability to put in start weight 90kg, goal weight (percetage ie -5% or a figure like 80kg) then the ability to input weight weekly as a decimal figure ie 91.5, a time frame, percentage loss/gain, and perhaps a graph of six months worth of plot points that the user would enter, then reminders to key the current weight in on a particular day. If the goal was to be a loss of 5kg, the widget could change colour depending on th…e time remaining to goal (ie 180 days / 5kg = 0.19kg a week

Its basically the same app with different labels and a little bit of modification. You could wrap this all up into a 'Dent Goals Widget' or something :) More
