I can confirm Rich's problem.
If you have Scribbler set to "add the scribbling, drop the oldest" when the maximum is reached, then the latest scribbling to be added once the maximum is reached will not become the active scribbling.
You can test this easily by setting the maximum to, say, 5. Type the numbers 1 to 9 somewhere, then copy each of those numbers to the clipboard in turn. When the numbers after 5 are added, "5" continues to be the active scribbling.

I think I understand it, though your lack of interpunction makes your post very hard to read. So, when you've hit the limit and scribblings start to drop, Scribbler doesn't correctly copy the 'new' active scribbling to the clipboard?

Scribbler allows 20 items. As long as I have less than 20 items then everything works great... The last item copied to the clipboard IS what scribbler stores as the active paste item. Once I have topped out the widget at 20 items copying new items correctly causes the oldest copied items to drop off the list BUT the focus as to which item is the one that will paste no longer changes... The last item that pasted BEFORE hitting the 20 mark stays the active paste item. I can minimize all windows to… get to the widget and click on the last item copied so that it now pastes but doing that every time I copy something new is obviously no good. Thank you!More

Rich, are you sure you didn't copy anything outside of scribbler while auto-add was off? Scribbler gets it's information from and to the system clipboard. Could you be more specific? Than I can solve the problem.

I am seeing an issue where the last item copied to the clipboard is not the item that will be pasted next! I have to get to the desktop and (in scribbler) highlight the last item copied to the clipboard so that it pastes next.
