Scribbler is a clipboard extension that stores pieces of text, URLs, and file locations. It is a very versatile tool and is a must-have if you do a lot of copy/paste-ing like me ;)

No. When right-clicking a scribbling, it show the same context menu as when right-clicking the header area. I always run it in "below" and "lock window position", but I tried it in other levels and without the lock option and it still didn't give a special menu.

James, please press 'SHIFT+F5' and tell me if Scribbler appears... I don't know what's wrong, because I programmed it so, that it would appear in the middle of the screen at first startup. @ Michael: thanks, I'll correct that one... But it does popup a special menu when right-clicking on a scribbling, right?

Reinier, downloaded 3.b2 and still get same dialogue menu with message "Welcome to the Yahoo! Widget Engine 3.0.2 (build 79) on 02/27/06 20:34:23.412:
Type '/help' for help."
I can then close the dialogue, but scribbler does not function as advertised.

Sorry, I am a ninny. The help window came up under the dozen or so other windows I had up, probably since I run the widget in the "below" level.
BTW: Nice help file, though right-clicking the scribbling does NOT bring up a special context menu with options; only the standard context menu for the widget.

Hm, I answered your email btw. But why isn't the help function working? It's hardcoded, so it should show up... No errors in the debug window?
