Script Bar

Script Bar is a Widget that allows you to activate an application by typing its name (so long as it's at the root of your Applications folder). You can also send AppleEvents to an application.
You can pause iTunes, open every folder in your home directory, quit an application even if it's not active without the dock... or just making the computer say something without opening a text document and speaking it. The possibilities are endless, because AppleScript provides a lot of user control that isn't typically easy to harness, until now.

April 16, 2004 · version 1.0 KeithThis rocks. Very, very nice. It's like the ctrl+f2 command in KDE, if anyone is familiar with unix. It brings up a field for you to type in the command you need. But this... it's sexy and functional.
My one complaint is that the output of your unix shell commands get cutoff at the end of the bar... maybe if you could make them go to newlines or something?
Other than that, though, this is an amazing little app! Good Job!
